Sponsored Review (WISHtrend): OST Original Pure Vitamin C 20 Serum

Hello my lovely readers!
Today, I will be reviewing one amazing product, the OST Original Pure Vitamin C 20 Serum.
(I feel like all my review posts start out like this L-LOL;; Is this too boring? ; u ;)

This serum was kindly sponsored by WISHtrend.
WISHtrend is an amazing online store which ships worldwide, and has a huge range of Korean cosmetics to choose from. If you have not already read my post on WISHtrend, please do so here!
Their shipping is relatively fast-- I received my package within 10 days.

This item is ranked as the best selling item in Singapore and WISHtrend.

Price:
$25 at WISHtrend

Pros:
♥ 20% of the serum is pure Vitamin C (hence the name? haha~)
♥ Whitens skin
♥ Fades scarring
♥ Removes blackheads/whiteheads
♥ Improves and evens out complexion
♥ Softens and moisturizes skin
♥ Prevents premature signs of aging
♥ Gently exfoliates
♥ Tightens pores
♥ Reasonably priced

Cons:
★ Sticky
★ May sting skin
★ Smells slightly medicinal (but it also smells like oranges)
★ Glass packaging, so it may break easily

Ingredients:
Water, Ascorbic Acid, Alcohol, Sodium Lactate, Butylene Glycol, Glucose, PEG-60 Hydrogenated Castor Oil, Sodium Hyaluronate, Bis-PEG-18 Methyl Ether Dimethyl Silane, Methylparaben, Diethoxyethyl Succinate, Phenoxyethanol, Ammonium Acryloyldimethyltaurate/VP Copolymer, Xanthan Gum, PEG-180, Gluconolactone, Camellia Sinensis Leaf Extract, Beta-Glucan, Rosa Davurica Bud Extract, Citrus Aurantium Dulcis (Orange) Oil, Zinc PCA, Panthenol, Niacinamide, Carthamus Tinctorius (Safflower) Flower Extract, Glycerin, Tocopheryl Acetate, Lecithin, Caprylic/Capric Triglyceride, Ubiquinone, Diisopropyl Adipate

The packaging is a glass vial with a dropper cap which contains 30 mL of serum.

Inside the box is the serum, which comes sealed with a normal screw on cap. It also comes with a dropper cap which you can change.

Serum with dropper cap

The serum is thick, but not thick enough to stay on my arm in a droplet. The serum is thin enough to run down my arm.

I've conducted a test with two apple slices, one with the Vitamin C 20 serum applied on top, and the other without the  serum. As we all know, apples turn brown because of oxidation, but the apple with Vitamin C did not oxidize as much as the one on top, which is good!!

I have been using this serum for around two weeks, now.

With the help of this serum, I've seen a dramatic improvement in my skin! My pores are smaller, most of my pimples are gone, my redness has been reduced, and some scars have faded as well~
Thank you OST and WISHtrend ♥♥♥

Overall, I give the OST Original Pure Vitamin C 20 Serum a: ★★★★★ 5/5 stars!

My first impression on this serum was that the packaging was so fancy and high-end LOL;; I actually let my mom share it with me, so we've used it together during this time. Her opinion on this serum is really good too! When I asked her how she liked the serum a few days ago, she said it made her skin feel and look youthful~ The results in her skin proved her statement to be true.

That's it for now. Thank you for reading, and have a beautiful day xoxo

Don't worry too much about your skin! c: I went through a horrid phase of acne (all on my forehead too fml). I've recently started breaking out a little (both acne and hives augh) because of trying a new product, so I might try this product! :'D Thanks for sharing it~

  2. Aw, you're too sweet~ <3
Do you have any tips on clearing up acne? (Because it seems to get worse everyday orz;;)
    Thank you for reading~

  3. The effects look great! Other than of course eating right (I've seen big improvements after changing my diet), I recommend using a clarifying cleanser. It can be a tad drying, so do moisturize after, but it works.

  8. Aw, it might irritate your skin, though. It stings a bit when I apply it LOL so use it at night to give your skin time to heal!! Thank you for reading <3

  9. Oh, I didn't know she reviewed this too! And nope, I remember doing a science lab in elementary school with lemon juice and apple slices so I thought it might work with this serum as well~ Thank you for reading! <3

  10. They're usually targeted toward acne prone skin and contain salicylic acid. I believe it's more "deep cleaning" than everyday cleansers. I rotate between my normal one and clarifying one~

  11. Oh yeah I know what you mean! Do you know any good clarifying cleansers from Korea or Japan? I break out if I use American products;;

  12. Acne at your age is mostly hormonal. >u>
The most you can do right now is to prevent it from getting worse! Drink lots of water, watch your diet, keep your hair and fingers out of your face (if you have bangs, pin them up at home), and always moisturize!

  13. Oh so does that mean I can't clear it up completely!? omg sobs >: Thank you for the great advice, though!! <3
