Sponsored Review (Jolse): MISSHA Pore Clear Cleansing Brush

Hey guys!
It certainly has been a while...;; I apologize for my spontaneous hiatus; it really wasn't planned or anything. The past year has been really hectic...juggling school and violin is already a challenge for me so blogging regularly on top of that was just unrealistic. I'm currently on winter break so hopefully I will get a few posts in (before I disappear again..?).
Do any of you even remember me ; - ; ? I really did miss my readers and blogging...but putting that aside, how is everyone's winter break? I hope you're enjoy this beautiful holiday season with your friends and family :)

Alright, onto the review portion of this post!!
Today I'll be reviewing the MISSHA Pore Clear Cleansing Brush sponsored by Jolse

I'm really ashamed to say this, but this review is over a year overdue...lol.......sorry orz; I'm actually terrible. Like I mentioned above, school and violin has been devouring my time (but I guess that really shouldn't be an excuse for me being so incompetent in keeping up with my sponsors) so I couldn't really get to my blog and reviewing things until now. Thank you to all my sponsors for being so tolerant with  me! If you've read my previous reviews on products from Jolse (here and here), then you'll know how much I adored this site.
I'm happy to say that Jolse is still the amazing site it was in the past, and even better! The site really has changed since I've last seen it but it still has so many sales, discounts, and free samples available to its customers. Please do check it out!

Price:
$30 at Jolse

Pros:
♥ High quality
♥ Does what it's supposed to do
♥ Gentle
♥ Affordable

Cons:
★ Not the "miracle worker" people rave it to be

The brush is approximately 7.5 cm in length with a sturdy wooden handle. The handle is the perfect size and shape for gripping so you can cleanse comfortably. The dense bristles have a height of 2.5 cm and a diameter of around 4 cm.

The bristles are super duper thin

The head is really soft, it's almost like touching the fur of a dog....

When wet, the bristles stick together. The head itself becomes really saturated so you'll need to squeeze it a bit to release the excess water. Also, it takes FOREVER to dry. If you use this daily, you'll probably never see it dry again. It took almost a week of no use for mine to dry completely...

I've used this consistently for a few months (while I still had mild acne) and to be honest, the brush didn't really improve my skin. My acne didn't go away, and neither did my blackheads. Many people claim that their blackheads went away but mine didn't? It might just be me though because none of the blackhead treatments work on me orz;; even the blackhead strips.

I did a test on an orange to see if the brush really did anything to my skin. I tested an orange twice under the same conditions except that I used the brush to cleanse for one attempt and my fingers for the other.
For reference, I used Etude House Precious Mineral Cotton Fit BB Cream and Atomy Evening Care Foam Cleanser.

After cleansing with my fingers. This is really gross ;; imagine this happening on your actual skin : ^ | Even though I've seen this test on many beauty shows and reviews, I didn't actually believe the results...because well you can never trust big companies when they're reviewing their own products LOL

After cleansing with brush. I'm impressed! I barely used any pressure to clean the orange skin and the pores were literally squeaky clean. I just used a gentle hand to buff the orange in circular directions. I should use this brush to clean my fruits and vegetables hehe just kidding ;;

Overall, I give MISSHA Pore Clear Cleansing Brush a ★★★★☆ 4/5 stars!

The orange test clearly showed that the brush was effective, but why didn't my skin change?! This brush is great at cleansing your pores and I would recommend this to anyone who is a skincare fanatic, whether or not you have skin troubles.
While this brush wasn't the miracle cure to my acne, something else was...stay tuned for my next blog post to find out!! //supercheesyending

As always, thank you for reading!
